Field Work 2008: Paris

Teri and Paul are traveling to Paris, France to visit Paul's daughter Emily. While there, they hope to learn about another culture, see amazing things, and have some fun. Paul is an anthropology student, so he's planning on using this trip as a sort of field session-- there's a lot to learn about these people!

Preparing for the Field

Teri and I leave in just a few days on our grandest expedition yet: living among the native Parisians. We'll be leaving behind the familiar, and hope to find a way to blend in so as to study the locals and their customs.

This blog will function as our 21st century field notebook, where we can record our observations and our reactions to what we see. I'll do my best to report on the culture into which we will be immersed, and provide some photographs, too.

Stay tuned! We arrive in France to begin our first European field season on December 18th.
